Artec 3D Scanner
The low-cost Artec models Leo Plus, Leo, S.Spider, and Eva are handheld 3D scanners that do not require markers.
The Leo Plus model comes with a calibration kit. Leo is PC-free and features a built-in gyro sensor and display. Leo is equipped with onboard processing capabilities that automatically process scan data during measurement. There is no need to connect to a PC, making it the world's first "PC-free handheld 3D scanner" that automatically synthesizes 3D models while scanning (according to our research). You can check the 3D model on the display while scanning the target object. Leo offers a standard mode (SD) and a high-precision mode (HD). Additionally, there is a bundled version called Leo+DesignX. After creating a CAD model, it is possible to perform linear, nonlinear, and fluid analysis using our CAE analysis software (AMPS Designer), enabling a consistent reverse engineering process from scan data to analysis.
